[Food Review] O’ma Spoon Korean Dessert Cafe

What can be sweeter than having my FIRST post (for June) dedicated to delectable desserts?

This is my first time trying Korean Bingsu and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it is! (Well, at least the ones I tried are.)
O’ma Spoon specialises in Milk Snow Bingsu ( 눈꽃빙수 ) and Oven Baked Thick Honey Butter Bread ( 하니브레드 ) which are said to be popular desserts in South Korea.

Green Tea Bingsu (SGD$13.90)
Made up of – Ice cream, Green Tea, Red bean, Almonds, Fluffy Milk Flakes
(extracted from http://www.omaspoon.com/)

Very Berry Bingsu (SGD$15.90)

Made up of – Strawberry, Blueberry, Ice cream, Almonds, Fluffy Milk Flakes (extracted from http://www.omaspoon.com/)

*There are mangoes near the base but I am not sure why it is not listed.

Ok, let’s just take a minute and admire the portions… Seriously, those are not small bowls of dessert that we may usually get. Well, for the price, I say we are not short-changed and they taste real fine~
The desserts themselves are not as sweet as I thought it might be and that is the beauty of it. The sweetness was just right. The almonds on the desserts was a good touch to give it some crunch and texture. The combination of the milk flakes went really well with the other ingredients for each desserts. I really love it ^^

Definitely a recommended place to try out Korean Bingsu~
